FlexFM
FlexFM is an open source project created by the folks at Soliant Consulting as an alternative to Flex4Filemaker. This is great news! It's not that I wish Flex4Filemaker to die, but it wasn't setup for success from the start. Flex4Filemaker was created by my lonesome self as a favor with zero (afaik) production usage. I had hoped that someone/s would join in the project, but that never happened.
I am officially discontinuing development of Flex4Filemaker. I will not remove the project from google code, as I think at the very least it could be used for reference.
FlexFM is setup for success with big plans for continued development. I would highly recommend anyone interested in Flex4Filemaker to take a good look at FlexFM.

Thanks for the kind words. As you know, the main differences between the projects are the actual connector code, and the fact that FlexFM is written with no command methods.
We’re pretty happy with the FlexFM connector code (e.g. it uses POST), so hopefully it will serve as a good foundation for lots of things.
If you or anyone is interested in extending FlexFM so that there are command methods modeled after the FileMaker PHP API (as you started to do with Flex4FileMaker), we’d be happy to see the package extended to include those kinds of wrappers.

I noticed your post on flexfm.riaforge.org.
I’m just starting with flex but don’t really understand how to approach the application to connect it to my FMserver. What is where and what is it called or how do I connect with a user/pass.
Perhaps you would be willing to give me a hand so I can get to work and create some awesome stuff.
